Made your website with v0? Hand Vercel’s AI agent your Refari embed code and it writes the job board into your Next.js careers page, with search, job alerts, referrals and forms that send every candidate to your ATS.
Six Steps From Embed Code to a Published v0 Careers Page
There is no custom code box and no embed element in v0. The Refari code becomes part of your project’s Next.js source, written there by the chat, by you in the Code tab, or through a connected GitHub repository. Design Mode only changes styles and text, so it is not the place for scripts.
1
Copy Your Code From Refari
Open Widgets in your Refari dashboard, pick the job board and settle its colours and layout first, because they are written into the code. Then click COPY ALL. Widgets needs a Refari Admin or Manager login.
2
Brief the v0 Chat
Paste the prompt below into your project chat with the copied code in place of the bracketed line. The agent edits the right files for you, which suits anyone who would rather not open the code.
3
Or Edit the File Yourself
Click Code in the preview toolbar, choose the careers page file (for example app/careers/page.tsx) in the file tree, make the change and press Save in the Unsaved Changes bar, or Ctrl+S (⌘S on a Mac). Editing pauses while the agent is working.
4
Publish to Vercel
Click Publish in the chat header the first time, and Publish Changes after that. Judge the board on the published address, never in the editor pane.
5
Point Your Base URL at the Page
In Refari, open Settings > Job Board Settings and set the Base URL to the careers page on your own domain, so links in job alerts and emails land there.
6
Run Three Quick Checks
Open a registration form and make sure reCAPTCHA loads with no error. Then open a job, copy the address and paste it into a new tab: the same job should open. Last, click a job link in a Refari job alert email.
Example prompt for the v0 chat
Add the Refari job board to our /careers page, using the Refari code below.
[paste the COPY ALL code from Refari here]
Please:
- Make a client component ("use client") that renders the empty container div exactly as pasted, keeping its id unchanged, full width with no fixed height.
- In that component, load the Refari loader once, with the Script component from next/script. Do not add the loader anywhere else.
- Keep the Refari scripts in their original order, and run the configuration code inside that Script’s onReady callback, which Next.js calls after the loader has loaded and every time the component mounts.
- No raw script tags inside JSX, and never put the code inside an iframe or an embed element.
- Keep the page address as it is, including its query string and the part after #.
Swap the line in square brackets for your own code from COPY ALL. It already carries your API key.
What v0 Builds, and Why a Refari Widget Fits It
Vercel’s v0 is an AI agent that turns a chat into working code. The sites it makes are Next.js apps written in React and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui, and published to Vercel on a vercel.app address or a domain you connect.
The code from COPY ALL is an empty container plus a few short Refari scripts that keep their original order: a loader, and a configuration that tells it which board to draw. Nothing in a v0 site puts your code inside an embed frame, so once those pieces sit in the careers page they run in the page itself, which is all the board needs to list jobs, open each one and submit forms.
Jobs load in the visitor’s browser, so nobody redeploys the site when a role opens or closes
Your vacancies live in Refari and your ATS, never in your Next.js files or your GitHub repository
The embed code is not tied to one domain, so it runs on vercel.app, a branch preview and your own address
Job alerts, referral and registration widgets go in the same way as the job board
Each ATS Behind a v0 Careers Page
The code from COPY ALL is the same whichever ATS feeds Refari. What changes is what moves between that ATS and Refari, and the one thing worth checking once the board is live on your v0 site.
JobAdder
What flows
Refari’s own two-way integration: JobAdder webhooks put new ads on your v0 board and take expired ones off straight away, edits follow within a few hours, and candidate stages come back. Applications, registrations and referrals go into JobAdder, referrals logged in JobAdder are pulled into Refari, and screener answers reach JobAdder fields once you map them under Tools > Question Mapping.
Watch for on v0
Your first publish gives you a vercel.app address. Point the Base URL in Refari at the careers page on your own domain, so links to your JobAdder ads in alert emails never open the vercel.app copy.
Through the Refari Integrator, published, Active Loxo jobs reach your v0 board by webhook within minutes. Applications, registrations and referrals go to Loxo, and stage changes in your Loxo workflow come back to Refari; screener answers are not written to Loxo.
Watch for on v0
Your Loxo API key belongs only in the connection link from Refari Support. Never paste it into the v0 chat or your Next.js files: the embed code carries its own Refari key.
Refari checks Atlas for public projects about every 10 minutes, with a fuller reconcile every few hours. Applications, registrations and referrals go back to Atlas, and project stages return for referral tracking and TopRec review requests on placement.
Watch for on v0
A project missing from your v0 board is an Atlas setting, not a Next.js bug: it shows only with Public Job Advert switched on, at the next check about 10 minutes later.
Seven20 built this connection on Refari’s API for its Salesforce-based recruitment CRM. The jobs Seven20 sends appear on your v0 board and applications and registrations go to Seven20, while referrals stay in Refari and candidate stages are not sent back.
Watch for on v0
Make every job change in Seven20, never in your Refari dashboard or the v0 code: a job you expire or repost in Refari no longer takes later updates from Seven20.
RecruitWizard built this integration. Each job you advertise in RecruitWizard is sent to Refari for your v0 board, and applications, registrations and referrals go back to RecruitWizard; candidate stages are not sent back.
Watch for on v0
Before you ask v0 to change any code, check the job in RecruitWizard: it appears only once it has a title, category, work type, location, recruiter and closing date.
When the board is blank or a form misbehaves, the cause is nearly always how the code was placed in the Next.js project. Check these in order.
Script Tags Typed Into a Component
A plain script tag written into JSX, or injected through dangerouslySetInnerHTML, may never run when React renders the page, which leaves an empty container.
Load the loader with next/script in a client component, as the Next.js docs recommend for third-party scripts.
Blank After Moving Between Pages
Next.js loads a given script once across route changes. If the configuration only runs alongside that first load, it does not run again when the careers page mounts a second time, so the new container stays empty.
Run the configuration in the loader Script’s onReady callback, which Next.js calls every time the component mounts.
Testing Inside the Editor
The v0 docs do not say how the preview pane inside the editor is isolated, so a blank board or a reCAPTCHA error there proves nothing either way.
Publish, then test on the vercel.app address or your own domain.
“Invalid Domain” on a Form
reCAPTCHA shows this when the code runs inside a frame, which has no address of its own. Job links and filters break for the same reason.
Remove any iframe or embed element around the code so it sits directly in the page.
A Security Policy Blocking Refari
No default Content Security Policy is documented for v0, but if you or a developer add one, it can stop the board loading.
Allow the Refari addresses in script-src, connect-src, img-src and, for reCAPTCHA, frame-src.
A Protected Deployment
With Vercel’s Deployment Protection switched on, a deployment address is not open to the public, so candidates cannot reach the board.
Open the careers link in a private window before you share it.
Plans to Check on v0 and Vercel
At the time of writing (November 2026) v0 lists four plans. Free costs nothing and allows 7 messages a day, and its plan list includes deploying to Vercel, Design Mode and GitHub sync. Plus is $30 per user a month, Business $100 per user a month, and Enterprise is priced on request. Refari works the same way on every one of them.
The hosting is where businesses need care. Vercel’s fair use guidelines keep Hobby teams to non-commercial personal use, and they count advertising the sale of a product or service as commercial. An agency’s or employer’s careers site is commercial too, so plan on a Vercel Pro team, whose developer seats are $20 per user a month, or on Enterprise.
Publishing needs a v0 role that can edit the chat and permission to deploy the Vercel project
Connect your domain from Publish, then Customize Domain, and finish the DNS in Vercel
Prices and plan names change, so confirm them on v0’s and Vercel’s pricing pages

Refari on v0: Common Questions
What recruitment teams ask before they run Refari’s job board, alerts and forms on a website v0 has built.
Can I add a Refari job board to a website built with v0?
Yes. A v0 site is a Next.js app, and Refari widgets are plain JavaScript, so once the embed code is in your careers page source the board runs in the page and lists your live jobs.
Do Refari widgets work in the React code v0 writes?
Yes. The board runs in a React page once its container is rendered and its configuration runs after the loader has loaded, which is what the example prompt asks v0 to set up.
Is there a place in v0 to paste embed code?
No. There is no custom code setting and no embed element in v0. Give the code to the chat and ask for it on your careers page, or add it yourself in the Code tab or in a connected GitHub repository.
Will the job board run inside an iframe on my v0 site?
No. Nothing in a published v0 site wraps your code in a frame, so the board runs in the page itself. If a form ever says “Invalid domain”, something has added a frame, and the code should be moved out of it.
Which file should the Refari code go in?
Your careers page file, such as app/careers/page.tsx, through a small client component. With widgets on several pages, reuse that pattern on each page with the same id on the loader’s Script, and Next.js loads the loader only once.
Why does the board vanish after I click around my v0 site?
Most likely because the configuration ran only on the first load. Ask v0 to run it in the loader Script’s onReady callback, which Next.js calls every time the component mounts, then test by leaving the page and coming back.
Do links from Refari job alerts work on a v0 site?
They should, because Next.js keeps the query string alert links use. Test it: open a job on your published board, copy the address into a new tab, then click a job link in a Refari job alert email. The same job should open each time.
Do I need a paid plan to run a careers page on v0?
Yes, for any business, on the hosting side. Vercel limits Hobby teams to non-commercial personal use, and any site built for financial gain, including by a paid employee, counts as commercial, so plan on Vercel Pro or Enterprise. A paid v0 plan helps if 7 chat messages a day is not enough.
Can I connect my own domain to a v0 site?
Yes. Choose Publish, then Customize Domain, or open the project menu, Settings and Domains, and finish the DNS records in Vercel through Inspect on Vercel.
Will my jobs show in Google for Jobs from my v0 site?
Not from the widget. The board opens each job inside your careers page, so no job has a page of its own for Google for Jobs to read. Google for Jobs comes with a website Refari builds, where every job has its own page.
Can I edit the careers page later without the AI?
Yes. Edit the file in the Code tab, or connect GitHub and work in your own editor. Once a repository is connected it becomes the source of truth, and v0 works on branches rather than pushing to main.
If I move my v0 site to other hosting, does the job board come too?
Yes. Export the code or take it from GitHub, deploy it anywhere that runs Next.js, and the Refari code goes with it. Update your Base URL in Refari if the careers page address changes.
Google for Jobs Needs a Page per Job: Refari Websites 2.0 Has One
A v0 site with a Refari board gives candidates a proper careers page and gives your ATS every application. What it cannot do is give each vacancy an address of its own, because the board opens jobs inside one page, and that per-job page is what Google for Jobs reads. Refari Websites 2.0 is the managed route: Refari builds and hosts your site, every job gets its own page, and you ask for changes in plain English instead of prompting an agent.
