The questions Atlas users ask most when their website is on Wix, from plans to where candidates land in Atlas.
Where do Refari widgets go on a Wix site?
Refari widgets need to run in the page itself, so on Wix they go in a Custom Element or in Wix’s Custom Code settings, both of which need a Premium plan with a connected domain. Avoid Wix’s Embed HTML element: it runs the code in a frame, which breaks forms and job links. Refari Support can help you set it up.
Why not use Wix’s Embed HTML element?
It runs your code inside a frame. The board may still appear, but forms show an invalid domain error and job pages and filters stop working, because they depend on the address of the page they sit on.
Which Wix plan do I need?
A Premium plan with a connected domain. Both the Custom Element and Wix’s Custom Code settings need one.
Will the board work on a free wixsite.com address?
No. Wix asks for a Premium plan with a connected domain before a site can use a Custom Element or custom code, so the board needs both.
How can I tell the code is running in the page and not in a frame?
Publish a page with a registration form on it and look at the reCAPTCHA box at the foot of the form. If it loads without an error, the code is running on the page and the other widgets will behave too.
Which Atlas projects show on my Wix site?
Only active projects with Public Job Advert switched on. Each also needs a title, an owner with an email address, a Job Board Category or job function, a location and a contract type.
What happens in Atlas when someone applies on my Wix site?
With a CV, they appear as an applicant under Sourcing then Applicants, ready for approval. Without a CV, Refari adds them straight to the project’s candidate pipeline, where no approval is needed.
Can my Wix site get my Atlas jobs into Google for Jobs?
Not from the widget. Refari puts jobs into Google for Jobs on the websites it builds itself, where each Atlas job has its own page for Google to read. On Wix you get the job board and Refari’s feeds for Indeed and Jora.
